April 25 – Charleston, SC (shrimp and grits)
April 29 – Key West, FL (key lime pie! conch! the beach!!)
May 3 – Miami, FL (cuban food)
May 4 – Atlanta, GA (the world of coca-cola)
May 8 – Blue Ridge, VA Bike Tour (2 days of me on a bike. thank GOODNESS for the delicious eats along the way!)
May 11 – Smith Island, MD (12 layer cakes. soft-shell-crabs. need i say more?!)
May 14 – Philadelphia, PA (GELATO! cheese-steaks)
May 17 – Lancaster, PA (amish pies. amish jams. fantastic.)
May 19 – Columbus, OH (a day of rest. and jeni’s fabulous ice cream)
May 20 – Traverse City, MI (cherries! cherries! and MORE CHERRIES!)
May 22 – Madison/Middleton, WI (international mustard museum)
May 25 – Rapid City, SD (corn palace, anyone??)
May 26 – Cody, WY (yellowstone national park)
May 27 – Bozeman, MT (fishing for dinner – really?!?!)
May 29 – Glacier National Park (speaks for itself…)
June 1 – Walla Walla, WA (onions. wine.)
June 2 – Seattle, WA (coffee. cafes. pikes market)
June 5 – Portland, OR (breweries. bakeries. beauties!)
June 7 – Oregon Coast (micro-breweries! if only i liked beer…)
June 8 – Northern California (almonds)
June 9 – Napa, CA (wine! cheese! mushrooms! and MORE BIKES!!!)
June 13 – San Francisco, CA (markets. gelato. adventures)
June 16 – Big Sur, CA (can you get more beautiful views?)
June 17 – Solvang, CA (danish treats!)
June 18 – Los Angeles, CA (original fast food – and some luxury spots)
June 19 – Las Vegas, NE (lord only knows…)
June 20 – Grand Canyon (there is this restaurant that perches over the edge…)
June 22 – Phoenix, AZ (native american foods)
June 24 – Santa Fe, NM (follow that chili pepper!)
June 27 – Austin, TX (tex-mex treasures!)
July 1 – San Antonio, TX (can you get enough tex-mex?!?!)
July 2 – Houston, TX (patrenellas kitchen garden)
July 4 – New Orleans, LA (beignets! chickory coffee! bananas foster!)
July 6 – Jackson, MS (the worlds most AMAZING fried chicken)
July 7 – St Louis, MO (frozen custard, anyone?)
July 9 – Chicago, IL (farmers markets. haute cuisine. ice cream galore!)
July 12 – Indianapolis, IN (seriously? the airport has amazing food?)
July 14 – Bloomington, IN (tibetan cuisine in a college town!)
July 15 – Lexington, KY (follow that bourbon trail)
July 18 – Columbus, OH (because you can never get enough Jenis)
July 19 – NYC (food vendor carts. pickles. chocolate. this could go on and on…)
July 24 – New Haven, CT (louis lunch hamburgers)
July 26 – Cape Cod, MA (cranberries!)
July 27 – Boston, MA (oysters!)
July 29 – Ipswich, MA (clams!)
July 31 – Boothbay Harbour, ME (lobsters! candy stores!)
August 3 – Baxter St Park, ME (fishing. again. could be an adventure!)
August 6 – Waterbury, VT (ben and jerry’s!!!)
August 8 – HOME (?)

  1. WE MUST GET TOGETHER WHEN YOU COME TO SAN FRANCISCO! i know some AWESOME food places…and i don’t know if you have a place to stay, but you are more than welcome to stay with me :) hooray!

  2. umm…I do not see an OK stopover on this tour. BUT- I will be in Indy/Bloomington very close to when you will be there. I am there the 8-13th! What will we ever do with ourselves seeing each other FOUR times in one year?! It was almost five, but we will just miss each other in Cbus- I leave May 15th.

  6. Philadelphia — Pats or Geno’s steaks, wander the Italian market of south Philly for some amazing cheeses, cannoli and other fabulous foods
    Los Angeles — Sweet Lady Jane’s on Melrose for the best cakes EVER! Wahoo’s Fish Tacos for an out of this world experience; The Omelette Parlor in Santa Monica for a great breakfast; Toast in West Hollywood for breakfast/brunch/lunch
    Santa Barbara (on the way from Solvang to LA) — Natural Cafe on State Street for great vegetarian food that even carnivores will love
    NYC — Spice Market and Ollie’s Chinese Food (the BEST veggie dumplings)

  7. omg! You are going to be in my neck-of-the-woods when you are in Northern California!!! WE MUST SEE EACH OTHER! You definitely have a place to stay if you need one!
